Skin Care Products Available at Dr. Signore's Dermatology Office
The following skin care products are available for purchase when you come to our office:
1. Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% Wash (8 Ounce Bottle: $32.00)
This is a very nice and gentle wash for ACNE PIMPLES which can be used to cleanse the face or back of acne patients once or twice a day. Benzoyl peroxide is very helpful for treating acne and it helps prevent antibiotic resistance. As you know, prescription benzoyl peroxide acne washes have become difficult to find and also very expensive (often well over $100.00). Therefore, we started offering this excellent, inexpensive over-the-counter acne wash in our office as a service to our acne patients.
2. Aquaglycolic Face Cream, Toner, and Hand & Body Lotion ($20.00 Each)
These glycolic acid products are also very gentle and well-tolerated by most patients:
Aquaglycolic FACE CREAM and Aquaglycolic TONER both are helpful for facial ACNE PIMPLES. Both products may help fade POST-INFLAMMATORY HYPERPIGMENTATION (= the pink to red "stains" which often occur after acne pimples resolve):
- Aquaglycolic FACE CREAM is for normal to dry facial skin. It may also help reduce the appearance of FINE LINES and WRINKLES.
- Aquaglycolic TONER is for oily facial skin.
- Aquaglycolic HAND & BODY LOTION may be helpful for DRY and BUMPY SKIN CONDITIONS, such as keratosis pilaris (on the upper arms and thighs). It also may be helpful for dry cracking heels and chapped hands.
3. Carlson Super Daily Vitamin D3 (1000 I.U. per drop) - ($12.00 per bottle) Carlson's vitamin D3 drops are made by a very reputable manufacturer. We offer
this convenient-to-take vitamin D3 supplement as a service to our many patients with skin cancer and pre-cancerous skin lesions who practice maximal sun
protection & might not get enough vitamin D from sun exposure. Vitamin D is
important for strong bones and also for general health.
4. Barlean's Pure Flaxseed Oil 1000mg Softgels (1 Bottle of 250 Capsules: $25.00)
Barlean's is a very reputable manufacturer of flaxseed oil. Flaxseed oil may
be helpful as part of a patient's daily regimen for the natural treatment of ACNE PIMPLES and ECZEMA.
5. Home Health Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream (1 - 4 Ounce Jar: $20.00)
A gentle face cream which contains hyaluronic acid which is naturally found in the
skin. This moisturizer contain hyaluronic acid may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Also contains: green tea extract, grapeseed oil, and vitamins A, E, B and C. This cream is fragrance-free, parabens-free, petroleum-free and contains no petroleum and no animal products.
6. HMF Forte Capsules Probiotic Supplement - (#120 per jar: / $40.00)
Probiotics are supplements which may help replace the "good bacteria" in your digestive system, which get lost or reduced by antibiotics.
