New Patient Dermatology Consultations - (Homeopathy)
In Dr. Signore's dermatology office, patients can choose between modern conventional dermatology treatments (prescription creams, ointments, antibiotics, pills, ultraviolet-B light treatments, injections, etc.) and classical homeopathic treatments.
Modern medicine is very effective in preventing and treating many serious diseases and alleviating much human suffering in the world. Nevertheless, there are still many diseases for which modern medicine has no cure. Therefore, it is important to keep an open mind for new (or old) medical therapies which could be helpful for these conditions.
Classical homeopathy is a gentle, natural system of healing which was founded by Samuel Hahnemann, MD, a German physician and chemist, in the late 1700s and early 1800s. Homeopathic medicine can be helpful in the treatment of acne (pimples), eczema, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), warts, molluscum contagiosum, and other skin conditions. Homeopathic medicine might be helpful for patients who wish to avoid the use of antibiotics or steroids when possible.
During the initial homeopathic office visit, the patient is asked questions about his or her main dermatological symptoms. In addition, numerous questions are asked regarding past medical conditions, diseases, injuries, and many other aspects of the patient's life. The patient is then examined and a natural homeopathic remedy (in the form of a pill or liquid) is selected to best match the patient's individual symptoms.

When you make your initial homeopathic appointment, Dr. Signore's office will then forward to you a new patient homeopathic questionnaire which you can fill-out and return to us 1 week prior to your first visit.
